As pointed out by Yale historian, Timothy Snyder, “fake news” echoes back to Hitler’s “lugenpresse.” It’s almost a literal translation (“lying press”). Fortunately, we are blessed to have some truly amazing journalists/commentators right now, including Sarah Kendzior, Natasha Bertrand, Rachel Maddow, Lawrence O’Donnell and David Corn.
